Day 1 – Tuesday, May 19, 2026

This morning, we’ll make our way to the beautiful Lancaster, PA. We will make a stop for breakfast & lunch on your own before arriving at the Amish View Inn. Located on a AAA scenic byway and surrounded by Amish farms, Amish View provides the intimate atmosphere of a bed & breakfast with the amenities of an upscale Lancaster, PA hotel.

Then, we’ll head to Shady Maple Smorgasbord, which invites us to discover the unique experience of dining at Lancaster County's largest smorgasbord. What began as a roadside vegetable stand nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country has now become an expansive buffet-style restaurant and a large farm market with its own bakery, smokehouses, and impressive produce department. The smorgasbord menu features a different grill specialty every night of the week, along with seven other meats, 14 vegetables, plus 40 salad bar items, and over 30 desserts. Shady Maple's cooks prepare great-tasting food in a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch style. After feasting on the all-you-can-eat smorgasbord, your group will be delighted to explore their gigantic 41,000-square-foot gift shop located on the lower level. The gift shop showcases hundreds of unique gift items including collectibles, candles and Amish-crafted furniture. Once finished we will retire back to the resort for the night. Day 2 - Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the Inn. Their hot, hearty, complimentary breakfast buffet will get you ready for a full day of exploring Lancaster County and the surrounding areas. Some of their best breakfast buffet offerings include: made-to-order eggs and omelets, made-to-order waffles, bacon and locally made sausage, country potatoes, oatmeal and cold cereals, fresh fruits and breads, Juices, and hot and cold beverages (items subject to change).

Today we depart for The Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, which provides exclusive resources and unique experiences to introduce visitors to the Battle of Gettysburg and prepare them for their tour of the battlefield.
They’ll set the stage with the film, "A New Birth of Freedom." Then, feel the fury of Pickett's Charge all around you with the 360-degree iconic and massive Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama painting. Through rare artifacts and interactive stories, journey back to the events and issues surrounding the battle in the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War.

Then have lunch on your own at the Refreshment Saloon, modeled after actual refreshment saloons that existed during the Civil War to offer wary soldiers a place to have a meal and a brief respite from the harsh realities of war. The varied menu includes "Tastes of the Period" and features dishes like beef stew, slippery chicken pot pie, and Gettysburg chili served with cornbread. For dessert, don't miss the giant snickerdoodle cookies. In addition to the period food, the Saloon offers standard fare such as turkey wraps, salads, Angus burgers, hot dogs and pizza as well as a featured soup of the day. We’ve seen the film, visited the Cyclorama, and explored the museum. Now we’ll climb back on the motor coach with a Licensed Battlefield Guide that will provide the narrations for our 2-hour Gettysburg Battlefield Bus Tour.

We’ll step onto hallowed ground and enrich our experience as the bus makes stops at some of the battlefield’s most legendary locations. We’ll get more than just the facts, we’ll gain an insightful picture of the personalities, places and events at the Battle of Gettysburg.

We’ll end the day with a tour, dinner & tasting at Mount Hope Estate & Winery – a true farm-to-table meal. Lancaster County is known for farm-fresh food and the Manheim area is filled with vast farmland and lush crops. Our guide will take us on a journey of delicious food from the farm to the table. Dinner served in their beautifully restored, historic barn. The hearty menu changes seasonally to bring the finest and freshest items available. Their beloved and fun hearted actors will be our hosts as they talk about the history of agriculture in Lancaster County. They'll also share information about the sources of the items on the menu and explain what makes Lancaster's food resources so unique (and delicious!). Day 3 – Thursday, May 21, 2026

Enjoy another delicious breakfast buffet at the Inn before we head out today. Then, we will greet our step-on guide who will take us out to the "Roads Less Traveled" driving tour through the heart of the Amish Farmlands. Enjoy picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads, where time seems to stand still. See the pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, windwheels, Amish "phone booths", and farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows.

We’ll stop at an Amish Quilt & Craft Shop, right on an Amish farm! You’ll have an opportunity to meet the Amish in person as you browse through a colorful array of exquisite handmade quilts and unique country crafts.

We will make a stop at Eli's Countryside Road Stand, where you’ll find this Amish owned and operated roadside stand to be exactly what you were looking for in your trip here to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Choose from a large array of homemade crafts including quilts, baked goods, canned items, home-made noodles, apple butter, and much more. Local produce is sold in season. While here, you’ll receive a hand-made pretzel and enjoy home-made birch beer, lemonade, or root beer.

Next, we’ll arrive at Kitchen Kettle Village, where you can stroll through the village of 42 shops and restaurants and have lunch on your own. Built around their nationally celebrated Jam & Relish Kitchen, don’t forget to sample their pepper jam, watch fudge being rolled, go for a horse drawn carriage ride and listen as Banjo Jimmy plays a tune. And did we mention the shopping? It's like a treasure hunt, with everything from hand carved signs, to handmade quilts, to Brighton leather goods, to UGG boots, and so much more.

After lunch be entertained at the famous Sight & Sound Theater, where we’ll see JOSHUA. Be strong and courageous! From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, JOSHUA is a miraculous adventure for the whole family. Experience one of the most redemptive stories of the Bible as it comes to life in this brand-new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatre.

After this magnificent show we will enjoy a Down on the Farm Amish Dinner. Prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as you are welcomed into a real Amish home as their guests for an authentic Amish meal. Enjoy their kind and gracious hospitality as the family serves you a delicious Penn Dutch feast. Start the summer off with a getaway to Nantucket Island! Nantucket, a tiny island situated off the coast of Massachusetts, holds a rich and storied history that spans centuries. Join us on a journey through time as we explore the fascinating history of Nantucket Island. We begin our journey by boarding the High-Speed Ferry in Hyannis for our trip over to the Island. Hy-line vessels provide plenty of comfortable indoor seating, onboard food service and a full bar. Once we arrive on the beautiful Island of Nantucket, we will take a 90- minute narrated tour of the Island. After the tour, you will have time to do a little shopping downtown and have lunch on your own. Later in the afternoon, we will check into the beautiful Nantucket Inn. Nestled by the serene South Shore beaches, this family-friendly resort promises both comfort and convenience, making it an ideal retreat just outside of downtown Nantucket. Since 1986, The Nantucket Inn has provided guests with a greater resort experience, complete with superior amenities at a reasonable value. Take advantage of the free shuttle service to downtown, Surf Side Beach, or just enjoy the amenities at the Inn! Use your history pass (included) to Explore the Nantucket Historical Whaling Museum. The Whaling Museum features permanent and rotating exhibitions in 9 premium galleries, with over a thousand works of art, artifacts and treasures on display, telling the Island’s fascinating stories over four centuries. The museum is home to a 46-foot sperm whale skeleton, a massive Fresnel lens, a restored 1847 candle factory and a relaxing, fully-accessible rooftop deck, offering stunning views of Nantucket harbor. If you are a golfer, Nantucket has two public golf courses close to the water with links-style holes reminiscent of Scotland, each treacherous in their own way with distinct atmospheres, services, and history. Day 3 – Tuesday, June 9, 2023

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast buffet, at the Inn, on our last day. Then we head over to the ferry to depart the Island. Once we are back in Hyannis, we will head over to E. Dennis to enjoy a boat ride on The Lobster Roll Cruise. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views from the decks of the “Lobster Roll” dinner cruise ship. Glide through the calm waters of Sesuit Harbor and into the serene beauty of Cape Cod Bay with its incredible sunsets and picturesque coastline. Choose between The Lobster Roll: A sandwich so good that they named a boat after it! We start with a grilled roll, a little lettuce and tomato and stuff it with fresh native lobster meat with a hint of celery and mayo. After lunch, we’ll regroup across the street at the legendary Ryman Auditorium for a self-guided tour of one of modern music’s most celebrated venues. Later, we check into the centrally located Holiday Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown, right in the heart of SoBro and steps from Broadway’s iconic honky-tonks. Enjoy a complimentary beer or wine from before we head out for an unforgettable night at Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre. Savor an all-you-can-eat buffet before the Best of Country Dinner Show begins. Enjoy interactive exhibits, rare performance footage, and even cast your vote for future inductees. Lunch will be on your own at the museum café before we continue on to Buffalo. This evening, we gather for a special Farewell Dinner at the legendary Chef's Restaurant, a Buffalo institution serving classic Italian-American favorites since 1923. Today we journey to beautiful Cape May, a charming seaside gem at the southern tip of New Jersey. Known as “The Nation’s Oldest Seashore Resort,” Cape May is famous for its stunning collection of 19th-century Victorian homes, pristine beaches, and welcoming small-town atmosphere.

We’ll check into the oceanfront Marquis de Lafayette Hotel, where all 82 beautifully appointed rooms feature private balconies overlooking the Atlantic. Wake each morning to the sound of the waves and breathtaking ocean views. Rooms offer either one king or two double beds, a stand-up shower, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and under-counter refrigerator.
