Day 1:
We will leave Massachusetts and be on our way towards our Nation’s Capitol. We’ll enjoy lunch on your own en route. This evening, we’ll have dinner at Jason’s Deli. We’ll then meet our local guide and depart on an Illuminated walking tour of the following Monuments and Memorials: The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, The Jefferson Memorial, Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Park and the Air Force Memorial. We’ll then board the motor coach and travel to our hotel for check in. -
Day 2:
Enjoy a continental breakfast or regular breakfast this morning at the hotel. We’ll meet our local guide at the NEW Capitol Visitor’s Center. We’ll then visit The United States Capitol. The most recognized symbol of democratic government in the world, the U.S. Capitol has housed Congress since 1800 and is one of the most imposing public buildings in the world. The Capitol is where Congress meets to write the laws of our nation, and where presidents are inaugurated. Afterwards, we’ll visit the United States Library of Congress, which was established, as an act of Congress in 1800. The Library of Congress is the largest national library in the world with more than 100 million items in three buildings. We’ll then tour The Supreme Court Building (exterior tour). Within the walls of this white marble monument the third branch of government exercises its mandate to protect and interpret the spirit of the Constitution.
Enjoy lunch on your own at the Visitor Center ’s cafeteria. After lunch, we’ll visit the National Archives. The spacious rotunda of the National Archives contains the original Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. We’ll then drive by the The Washington Monument. One of the tallest masonry structures in the world, this majestic obelisk was dedicated in 1885 to the memory of our first President. We’ll make stops at: The National World War II Memorial, the newest memorial which honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S. during World War II, the more the an 400,000 who died, and the millions who supported the war effort from home; The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, this privately funded memorial has drawn millions who have come to touch the over 50,000 names, make pencil rubbings and leave flowers, letters, flags and personal mementos; The Lincoln Memorial, overlooking the Reflecting Pool, was patterned on a classic Greek temple. Inside, inscriptions from his Gettysburg Address and Second Inaugural Address flank the 19-foot marble statue of our 16th President; and The Korean War Veterans Memorial. The triangular field contains nineteen ground troopers, clad in foul weather ponchos, fully equipped for battle. Representing those who supported the ground troops are hundreds of faces etched on a polished granite wall.
After we stop at the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center , we’ll enjoy a photo opportunity of the D.C. Skyline and have a dinner buffet at Harriet’s Family Restaurant. We’ll head back to the hotel for a relaxing evening. -
Day 3:
Enjoy continental breakfast or a regular breakfast this morning at the hotel. We’ll meet our GUIDE at the Visitor’s Center of Arlington National Cemetery. No land in America is more sacred than this square mile. It is America ’s shrine to valor and sacrifice. The Tomb of the Unknowns speaks of a nation’s debt to the many whose ultimate sacrifice helped make a nation free. Arlington averages 27 funerals a day. We’ll stop at The Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima Statue). One of the largest bronze statues ever depicts the American Flag being raised on Mount Suribachi during World War II and commemorates all marines who have died in battle since 1775. The view from this hillside looking across the Potomac into Washington is spectacular.
After, we’ll drive Embassy Row, through Georgetown , and by the Washington National Cathedral. You’ll have a chance to visit your choice of the Smithsonian Institution’s museums on the National Mall. Enjoy lunch on your own today in any of the museums’ cafeterias while visiting.
Enjoy dinner and a show this evening at The Lazy Susan Dinner Theater, Lorton , VA. This evening’s show is Shenandoah. Charlie Anderson, a widower, lives with his large family in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia , during the American Civil War. After the show, we’ll arrive at the hotel to retire for the evening. -
Day 4:
Enjoy continental breakfast or a regular breakfast this morning at the hotel prior to checking out. Visit Mount Vernon , the estate of George Washington. Here, he escaped the rigors of public office and enjoyed the life of a successful Virginia planter. America ’s most visited historic house, Mount Vernon sits on a grassy, shaded slope overlooking the Potomac River . Many of the furnishings are original pieces acquired by Washington himself. Mount Vernon is both George Washington’s home and final resting-place. We’ll also visit the Ford Orientation Center & Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center at Mount Vernon . The center contain sculptures, paintings, portraits, models, photos, films, documents and diverse artifacts, with succinct descriptions and pithy quotations describing the life, times and accomplishments of our nation's first president. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Mount Vernon food court and then we’ll depart for home. -

We’ll spend time in Lincoln , NH today eating, learning, and shopping! Our first stop is Dad’s Restaurant where we’ll have a delicious lunch. After lunch, we’ll visit Fadden’s General Store and Sugarhouse. The Fadden family began harvesting maple sap in the mid 1800’s and has perfected the process ever since. They have been awarded many blue ribbons as well as a Governor’s Cup for the best maple syrup in North America ! We’re not finished yet, though. We’ll then finish our New Hampshire day with a jaunt to Chesley’s Glory Station to browse their extensive line of country style home goods to hand crafted jewelry. They have a beading station where children and adults can create a necklace or other jewelry from a selection of thousands of unique beads. All will have a fun packed day. -

Day 1:
We’ll begin our trip from Massachusetts in the morning and arrive at our Virginia Beach Hotel, the Hampton Inn Virginia Beach, South. We’ll have dinner at Mahi Mah’s before relaxing for the evening. -
Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning, we’ll visit the Virginia Aquarium and IMAX. As the state’s largest aquarium, its two buildings host 700,000 gallons of aquariums and live animal habitats, three touch tanks, more than 300 hands-on exhibits, an outdoor aviary, 10 acres of marsh habitat, and a 1/3 –mile nature trail. We’ll continue this theme with a dolphin-watching cruise. We’ll observe Bottlenose Dolphins and Humpback Whales in their natural habitat aboard the Rudee Flipper. Later, we’ll have dinner at Otani Japanese Steak House. -
Day 3:
We’ll start the day with breakfast and then go to the Cape Henry Lighthouse. The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse was built in 1792. It started to crack in 1870 and was replaced with the new Cape Henry Lighthouse only 357 feet away, which is an active aid to navigation and operated by the U.S. Coast Guard. The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse is maintained by the APVA and is a National Historic Landmark, serving as the official symbol for the City of Virginia Beach . We’ll continue with a guided tour of the Oceana Master Jet Base. Oceana is one of the Navy's four master jet bases in the world. It is home to 20 aviation squadrons, including the F/A-18 strike fighters and F/A 18 Super Hornets. We’ll have lunch at the Officer’s Club and then return to the hotel for a free afternoon and evening. -
Day 4:
After breakfast, we’re headed to Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin. Nauticus, a maritime science museum, celebrates the economic, naval, and natural power of the sea. It features hands-on exhibits, wide-screen high-definition films, theaters with live actors, shark touch, and national-caliber traveling exhibits. Nauticus is also home to the Battleship Wisconsin, the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and the NOAA@Nauticus education center and exhibits. Lunch will be on your own at the Waterside Festival Marketplace. Afterwards, we’re taking the Norfolk Naval Base Tour aboard the Victory Rover. The Victory Rover offers 2 hour Naval Base Cruises that depart daily from the Nauticus. Enjoy a fascinating and entertaining commentary along the way aboard this Navy-themed vessel. Thrill to the sight of Aircraft Carriers, Nuclear Submarines, Guided Middile Cruisers, and all of the other ships that form the world's most powerful armada. On board, guests will enjoy plenty of comfortable seating, clean restrooms, air-conditioned enclosed deck, open-air upper deck, and a ship store with souvenirs, snacks and your favorite beverages. We’ll take a driving tour of Norfolk before dinner at Freemason Abbey. We’ll head back to the hotel for a night of relaxation. -
Day 5:
We’ll start the day off right with breakfast and then have a free morning of leisure to see the sights of the town. Have lunch on your own at Towne Center , and then we’ll take a tour of the Adam Thoroughgood House. Adam Thoroughgood is one of America 's first great success stories. He came to Virginia as an indentured servant in 1621 and owned over 8,000 acres of land by the time of his death in 1640. Visitors will learn his story at the Adam Thoroughgood House, which was likely built by his great grandson circa 1719. The tour of the house features a very nice collection of late 17th-century and early 18th-century English furniture. The grounds features a garden designed by Alden Hopkins in 1960. We’ll then have Afternoon Tea at the Ferry Plantation House. This Federal Style home stands three-stories and three bays wide at its central block and is constructed of brick laid in a three-course American bond. After we return to the hotel, we’ll have a farewell dinner at Waterman’s Restaurant. -
Day 6:
After our delicious breakfast, we’ll depart for home with a stop for lunch at Mastori’s, where you never know who might be sitting next to you or from where. A four star general could be sitting next to a road laborer or the ex-President of the United States may be walking in with a woman jogger. -

Day 1:
Ready to visit Niagara Falls? Grab your camera as we depart on our spacious motor coach today. We’ll have dinner and check into our Niagara Falls area hotel for a four-night stay. -
Day 2:
We’ll enjoy a Continental breakfast before we begin a Guided Tour of the Niagara Falls area. We’ll visit the engineering marvel, the Welland Shipping Canal and beautiful Queen Victoria Park, home of one of the world’s largest Floral Clocks. Queen Victoria Park is literally the "heart" of Niagara Parks. Bounded by the steep Fallsview moraine and the Niagara River Great Gorge, the Park contains a valuable collection of unique native and international plants and beautifully maintained gardens. The Welland Canal is a ship canal in Canada, that runs 27miles from Port Colborne, Ontario on Lake Erie to Port Weller, Ontario on Lake Ontario. As part of the St. Lawrence Seaway, the canal allows ships to avoid Niagara Falls by traversing the Niagara Escarpment. You’ll have dinner tonight at a local restaurant. -
Day 3:
A continental breakfast will be waiting for us when we awake. We will then depart for a Guided Tour of the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Toronto, Ontario. We’ll visit Toronto’s majestic castle estate – Casa Loma! When we visit Canada's Majestic Castle, Casa Loma, we’ll step back in time to a period of European elegance and splendor. It is the former home of Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellatt. Canada's foremost castle is complete with decorated suites, secret passages, an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables, and beautiful 5-acre estate gardens. Later, we’ll dine at a local restaurant. -
Day 4:
Start the day with a Continental breakfast before enjoying one of Niagara’s most popular and breath-taking attractions, a boat ride on the “Maid of the Mist.” We’ll sail near the base of the Horseshoe Falls and enjoy a truly awe-inspiring view of the mighty Niagara. We’ll then take a tour of historical Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of the prettiest towns in Canada and full of 19th century charm. Later, we’ll enjoy dinner and a visit to exciting Fallsview Casino and get in some gaming action before returning to our hotel. -
Day 5:
Today, you’ll have a continental breakfast before departing for home. Can you believe you’ve spent time in Canada? Haven’t had enough yet? After a hot buffet lunch, we’ll be stopping for a Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises for a two-hour canal tour thru the locks. We’ll then enjoy our trip home while we discuss the things you’ve seen with new friends made on the trip. -

Today we’ll motor into the Pine Tree State with the first stop at Freeport for shopping and lunch on your own. We’ll arrive at the Boothbay Harbor Inn, located on the waterfront in the hub of a busy summer resort. It is located next to the famous footbridge, which provides easy access to the center of Boothbay Harbor. Upon arrival, we’ll be treated to a welcome reception. Dinner ordered off the regular menu will be served in the Inn’s beautiful waterfront restaurant. After dinner, we’ll be treated to an evening of musical entertainment in the Inn’s cozy lobby. -
Day 2:
After a full breakfast, we will tour Ocean Point, one of the most scenic spots along the rock bound coast of Maine. After returning to the Inn, you’ll then depart for a two-hour boat cruise of Boothbay Harbor and the neighboring islands. Be sure to bring your camera because this is some of the most photographed coastal scenery to be found anywhere! The boat will then return us to the Inn where we’ll enjoy a real old-fashioned Down East Style Clambake with all the fixings: clam chowder, steamed lobster with steamed clams and mussels, corn on the cob, blueberry cake and a beverage. Steak or chicken will be available for those who do not want lobster, clams, and mussels. In the afternoon, you may relax or decide to explore the quaint village of Boothbay Harbor. We’ll eat dinner this evening in the Inn’s waterfront dining room before the Cabaret style entertainment. -
Day 3:
After enjoying the last hearty Maine breakfast and the view from the waterfront dining room, you’ll depart for the Boothbay Botanical Gardens. These gardens are located on 248 waterfront acres in the town of Boothbay. We’re off for a tour of Rockport and Gloucester today. Gloucester is America 's Oldest Seaport. In 1606, Samuel de Champlain came into our harbor and named it "Le Beau Port" or the beautiful port. A number of years later, in 1614, Captain John Smith traveled from Monhegan Island down the coast, ending his journey at Cape Cod . Before that, while passing the cape of land on which Gloucester is now located, he named it "Tragabigzanda" in honor of a Turkish lady who had befriended him when he was a prisoner in her country. Captain Smith then presented a map of the eastern coast to Prince Charles. He named this cape of land Cape Anne after his mother, Anne of Denmark. The name eventually was changed to Cape "Ann". Rockport is located approximately 25 miles northeast of Boston at the tip of the Cape Ann peninsula. It is directly east of Gloucester, Massachusetts and surrounded on three sides by the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll stop for lunch this afternoon at Brackett’s where we’ll have our choice of Baked Scrod Casserole or Baked Stuffed Chicken Breast. When you’re finished lunch, you can explore Bearskin Neck. -

Did you know that long ago, lobsters were so plentiful that Native Americans used them to fertilize their fields and to bait their hooks for fishing? In colonial times, lobsters were considered "poverty food." They were harvested from tidal pools and served to children, to prisoners, and to indentured servants, who exchanged their passage to America for seven years of service to their sponsors. In Massachusetts , some of the servants finally rebelled. They had it put into their contracts that they would not be forced to eat lobster more than three times a week. Day 1:
Arrive in the beautiful and historic Pocono Northeast and check into The Inn at Nichols Village . Relax with a welcoming reception, and then savor a sumptuous dinner and fantastic live entertainment before retiring to your room for the night. -
Day 2:
Breakfast is at The Inn at Nichols Village before departing with your step-on guide for the Victorian town of Jim Thorpe, named in honor of the great athlete. The picturesque town, formerly called Mauch Chunk, has been called “the Switzerland of America.” We’ll tour the restored 1888 Jersey Central Railroad Station as well as St. Mark’s Church, a National Historic Landmark. This Gothic Revival building, built into the side of the mountain, is one of the most notable in Pennsylvania. We’ll visit the Asa Packer Mansion, home of the multi-millionaire founder of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and Lehigh University. The 1861 Italianate villa’s décor and furnishings are entirely original, existing just as when the house was occupied by the Packer family. Our delightful lunch will be served at The Emerald Restaurant and Molly Maguires’ Pub, located at The Inn at Jim Thorpe, an 1848 New Orleans-style grand Victorian hotel. After lunch, we’ll visit The Old Jail Museum, which tells the story of the ill-fated Molly Maguires. To cap off your trip in style, we’ll take a scenic drive through the Hickory Run State Park en route to dinner at The Powerhouse Eatery. One of the region’s historic eateries, the warm and inviting restaurant is located in a former coal-to-electric powerhouse. Savor a fantastic dinner, dessert and coffee or tea. Return to The Inn and enjoy another night of their fine hospitality. -
Day 3:
Today we depart for the bright lights of New York City after breakfast. We’ll arrive in New York City where we’ll be greeted by a wonderful NYC guide who will narrate a fascinating tour of Lower Manhattan and then work their way back uptown, highlighting the best of the city, including; Battery Park, Ground Zero, Wall Street, Financial District, Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, Greenwich Village, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Times Square and Battery Park. Depending on traffic, weather, and mood of group, stops will be made at some of these locations, to be decided on that morning between the NYC Guide and the tour director. A scrumptious lunch will be served at one of our favorite Manhattan eateries. Here we will say thank you and goodbye to your NYC guide before heading inside to enjoy a feast for all the senses. After lunch, we will take the coach to a mid-town location where you will then be given time on your own. Enjoy the afternoon on your own visiting some of the countless historic, cultural and shopping attractions the Big Apple has to offer. We’ll be having dinner on our own before boarding bus. Rest well on our return trip back to The Inn at Nichols Village - with great memories of your day in New York City. -
Day 4:
After another fantastic breakfast at The Inn, your step-on guide joins you again aboard the bus to tell you the amazing stories of the people and places that fueled our nation during the Industrial Revolution. Start your journey by going down in history at the Lackawanna County Coal Mine Tour. Take a coal car along the rails into an authentic coal mine where a miner will narrate the working lives of the men & boys in Pennsylvania’s Anthracite coalmines. As we finish the coalmine tour, we’ll head next door to the PA Anthracite Heritage Museum, where we’ll see vivid depictions of the daily lives of the coal mining families as well. Fascinating and unforgettable! AAA rates the luncheon buffet at Carmen’s a four-diamond experience. Savor the delicious food beautifully presented in the marble & tile elegance of the former grand station of the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad. After lunch, take a ride along Roaring Brook on an authentic electric trolley at the award-winning Electric City Trolley Museum. Enjoy the nostalgia of the ride that goes through a beautiful woodland setting and through a mile-long tunnel built around 1905. We’ll finish with a tour of the grand Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This castle-like edifice holds many interesting sights and secrets. We’ll head back to the hotel a little early today – to relax and enjoy some of their amenities – and another delicious dinner. -
Day 5:
Begin your final day of touring with a delightful breakfast. Board the bus with your professional step-on-guide who will stay with you throughout the day, providing fun insights into the heritage and hidden gems of the Endless Mountains region. We’ll start at the unique Springville Schoolhouse Art Studios located in a former schoolhouse. In the same town is the inviting Americana Roads Antiques. Then, we’ll visit the town of Montrose for a little shopping around the downtown – be sure to visit Montrose Country Store and the many other wonderful shops. Lunch will be at the Summerhouse Grill. After, we’ll drive up the majestic Susquehanna River to the barn that houses the studio and gallery of the internationally known glass artist, Christopher Ries. Anyone wanting to stop in at the hotel to relax will be able to do so after this visit. If you’d prefer to go antiquing, we’ll visit the Carriage Barn Antiques. For our final night together, dinner will be at Patsel’s Restaurant, an attraction unto itself. While dining, be sure to walk around the restaurant and gardens to enjoy the world-class artistry contracted by local talent. -
Day 6:
On our last morning together, savor breakfast at the hotel before checkout. We’ll say good-bye to our hosts at The Inn at Nichols Village and return home with memories of your time exploring the history, hospitality and natural beauty of Pennsylvania’s great northeast and the exciting lights and sights of New York City. -

Day 1:
We’ll be starting off on our journey towards Bar Harbor today. We’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. We’ll stop at the Maine State Prison Store in Thomaston, known for its unique handmade souvenirs. We’ll have lunch on our own in the scenic village of Camden , where the mountains meet the sea. We’ll have some free time in Bar Harbor Village to explore the shops, boutiques and numerous restaurants that are centrally located along the waterfront. We’ll have an afternoon tour of Acadia National Park . Bar Harbor has been celebrated for its breathtaking beauty ever since Samuel de Champlain, who named it “Isle de Monts Desert” for its bare, desert-like mountaintops, discovered the island in 1604. In the first national park founded east of the Mississippi , you’ll see 9 mountains over 1000 feet high, stone bridges, lakes, pond, trails and carriage roads. We’ll stop at Cadillac Mountain , Thunder Hole on Ocean Drive and Sieur De Mont Springs Wild Gardens of Acadia . We’ll have a traditional Maine lobster dinner with all the fixin’s this evening (alternate menu also provided for landlubbers). Then, we’ll check into the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge, Bar Harbor (207-288-9786) for our stay this evening. -
Day 2:
After enjoying a deluxe Continental Breakfast, we’ll board the nearby ferry that departs Bar Harbor . Passports or Passcards are required for this international ferry to Canada . Lunch will be on our own on the ferry. After arriving in Yarmouth , we’ll pass through customs and set your watch AHEAD one hour to Atlantic time. We’ll have a local Canadian tour guide who will stay with us throughout the Canadian portion of our trip. We’ll travel along the Evangeline Trail this afternoon and marvel at the beautiful scenery. At Grand Pre National Historic Site, we’ll learn about the expulsion of the French Acadians from “Acadie” in 1755. In addition to the graceful stone church commemorating the deportation, this site also features a statue of “Evangeline”, the heroine of Longfellow’s epic poem. Dinner is included this evening in Annapolis Valley . We’ll check in to our hotel, Country Inn & Suites, (902-465-4000), across the river in Dartmouth this evening. -
Day 3:
After the deluxe Continental Breakfast, our adventure will continue with an overview tour of Halifax , including the downtown port city, a drive around the Victorian Halifax public gardens and a photo stop atop Citadel Hill. After leaving the bustle of the city, we’ll travel to the quaint fishing village of Peggy ’s Cover where the lighthouse sits atop the wave-worn granite coastline. This picturesque lighthouse also serves as Canada ’s only post office in a lighthouse. The tiny harbor below the lighthouse is a masterpiece of seasoned fish sheds and colorful fishing boats, making it one of the most photographed locations in Canada . After free time to explore Peggy’s Cove, we’ll drive past Truro and Antigonish en route to the Canso Causeway. We’ll cross the causeway to the beautiful island of Cape Breton where we’ll check into our hotel in Baddeck at the Celidh Country Lodge (902-295-3500) for a two-night stay. Dinner will be included near the hotel this evening. -
Day 4:
After enjoying a full Breakfast, we’ll spend the day exploring Cape Breton Island where we’ll discover first hand why Conde Nast magazine readers rated Cape Breton one of the top 10 most beautiful islands in the world. We’ll travel the 186-mile route, which makes up the famous Cabot Trail. Have your camera ready! You will travel through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and have a box lunch at a scenic beach picnic area. You’ll visit the intriguing village of Cheticamp , famous for its crafts and Acadian culture. We’ll return to our hotel this evening and have dinner on our own. -
Day 5:
After a great full breakfast, we’ll depart Cape Breton and make our way to Caribou, Nova Scotia . We’ll board the ferry for a 75-minute crossing to Prince Edward Island . Get your camera ready as we visit PEI National Park , known for its splendid pink dunes and spend time on Cavendish Beach . We’ll visit the museum at Green Gables, the fictional home of “Anne” in the Lucy Maud Montgomery books, sample local preserves at PEI Preserves and enjoy a traditional lobster dinner (alternate entrée is also available) before checking into our hotel for the evening. -
Day 6:
Enjoy a full Breakfast before leaving Prince Edward Island via the Confederation Bridge (8 miles long) for Saint John , New Brunswick this morning. We’ll travel through Moncton to Hopewell Rocks, where we’ll see how the world’s highest tides have gouged four-story sculptures from the cliffs. At low tide, the rocks look like giant flowerpots; at high tide, they practically disappear. If the tide is low, we’ll be able to walk on the ocean floor beside the caves and towering flowerpots. We’ll continue our drive along the shores of one of the Marine Wonders of the World: The Bay of Fundy. Fundy National Park encompasses some of the last remaining wilderness in southern New Brunswick . Here, the conifer dominated Caledonia Highlands roll down to meet the fog-generating Bay of Fundy . Our next stop will be to see the intriguing Reversing Falls Rapids and take a tour of St. John historical highlights. We’ll check in to our St. John hotel, the Amsterdam Inn Quispamsis, (506-849-8050), where a dinner theater is included this evening in the Loyalist City of St. John. -
Day 7:
We’ll start with a deluxe continental breakfast, say good-bye to our tour guide, and depart for home… enthusiastically reminiscing with friends made on our trip! -

Day 1:
We depart for Cape May , New Jersey . We arrive and check into the Marquis de Lafayette, phone number: 1-609-884-3500. All rooms are oceanfront with private balconies. It is walking distance to great restaurants and shops. We’ll have dinner at Lucky Bones Backwater Grill this evening. Did you know that the name Lucky Bones comes from the old mariners and whalers of the 1800’s? The horseshoe crab has three hollow bones that attach its tail to its main body. Old mariners used to collect these bones and make bracelets which were supposed to bring good fortune and luck to those who wore them – “lucky bones!” Dinner included. -
Day 2:
A buffet breakfast will be offered in the Victorian Garden Room at the Marquis. For the remainder of the morning and afternoon, you will be free to walk around beautiful Cape May , have lunch on your own, see the Historic District or go to Washington Mall. We will then depart for the Lobster House for dinner and dancing. Located on Fisherman’s Warf in the marina area, the Lobster House is renowned for its deliciously fresh seafood from local waters. Enjoy the musical selections of Jack Sahey during dinner and enjoy some dancing afterwards. Breakfast and dinner included. -
Day 3:
A buffet breakfast will be served in the Victorian Garden Room at the Marquis before we depart for the historic town of Smithville . This town is centered around the Smithville Inn, dating to 1787. Walk along the cobblestone and brick paths, ride the carousel found in the Village Green, or enjoy shopping in over 60 boutiques and specialty shoppes housed in historic buildings. We will then board the coach for a visit to the Renault Winery. Our tour of the Winery will begin in The Fountain Room where the Greek goddess Hebe, cupbearer of the gods, holds court. We'll continue on to the celebrated Antique Glass Museum which houses a priceless champagne & wine glass collection dating back to medieval times. Your guide will present the unique history of Renault Winery and it's founder, from the mid-nineteenth century, through prohibition and the jazz age to the present. We'll continue on through the sun-drenched European Courtyard - a favorite background for wedding portraits. You'll see a private collection of Antique Winemaking Equipment, and then see the Pressing Room where their wines are made. Next you'll see the climate-controlled Wine Cellar where the cellar master continually monitors the wine aged in giant oak and redwood casks. The tour continues to the Wine Tasting Emporium where you'll have the opportunity to sample their award winning wine and champagne selections. We will attend dinner at the Winery and then return to Cape May. -
Day 4:
Breakfast will be served at the Marquis in the Victorian Garden Room. We’ll enjoy an old-fashioned horse and carriage ride through the Historic District of Cape May. As the horse keeps a slow pace down tree lined streets, your driver will tell tales of Cape May with history and anecdotes. We’ll then depart for Marie Nicole’s Wildwood Crest for dinner this evening. -
Day 5:
We wake up to our last Buffet Breakfast in the Victorian Garden Room of the Marquis before departure for home. We will make a stop for lunch at Mastoris’s, where you never know who might be sitting next to you or from where. A four star general could be sitting next to a road laborer or the ex-President of the United States may be walking in with a woman jogger. We encourage our employees to cultivate rapport with each of their customers, getting to know how he or she likes their food and when to serve it. They have had the pleasure of serving many prominent people including Mr. Carter before he became president and Mr. Ford after he had been president along with the Russian Ballet, the mayor of Moscow , and many sports figures. Stops for breaks will be made enroute as needed. -

These awards marked the end of a long struggle to achieve a dream that was first conceived three hundred years earlier when Captain Myles Standish visited the area. After our ninety-minute cruise, we’ll go to the Bourne Scallop Festival. The Bourne Scallop Festival has been named one of the Top 100 Events in North America and given the Best Festival Award by Cape Cod Life Magazine. Let’s learn about the history of Salem ’s most historic homes today starting with a tour of The House of Seven Gables. Lunch is on our own today at Pickering Warf. We’ll then go to the Witch Dungeon Museum where you’ll experience the acclaimed performance of a Witch trial adapted from the 1692 historical transcripts and The Witch House. This is the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin and is the only structure still standing in Salem with direct ties to the Witchcraft Trials of 1692. Corwin was called upon to investigate the claims of diabolical activity when a surge of witchcraft accusations arose in Salem and neighboring communities. -

Day 1:
We’ll board the buss this morning and set off for the “Live Music Show Capital of the World” – Branson , Missouri . Are you ready for entertainment? This is the trip you’ve been waiting for! This evening, we’ll check into an en route hotel for a good night’s rest. -
Day 2:
After breakfast, we’ll spend our day crossing the Midwestern states of Ohio , Indiana , and Illinois . We’ll have dinner at a local restaurant and then check into our en route hotel. -
Day 3:
Our day begins with breakfast before departing for Branson. Branson is the Live performing capital of the world. There are over 60,000 theater seats and 100 shows in this small Missouri town. Our accommodations are at the Grand Country Resort, in the heart of the action. We’ll enjoy an incredible dinner buffet before attending our first show – The Twelve Irish Tenors. This hugely talented group of Ireland ’s finest singers will be performing their award winning show. -
Day 4:
After a buffet breakfast, we’ll tour Branson with a local guide. This afternoon, we’ll enjoy another show – the Popular PBS star Daniel O’Donnell. Then, it’s on to dinner and another show where we’ll see and hear the talented Shoji Tabuchi, master of the Violin. -
Day 5:
Our day starts with a buffet breakfast before we see a morning show at the 76 Music Hall. There will be time in the afternoon for additional touring and shopping before another dinner awaits us. The highlight of our day will be The Miracle of Christmas performance at the fabulous Sight ‘N Sound Theater. -
Day 6:
A buffet breakfast helps us meet the morning before we see some of the biggest names in show business. Our matinee show today includes the Lennon Sisters and Tony Orlando, together in one fabulous Christmas production. After dinner, we’ll have a performance by “Mr. Christmas… Andy Williams.” -
Day 7:
After our last buffet breakfast, we’ll head to Indianapolis , Indiana . Our overnight accommodations include a manager’s reception with plenty of snacks and refreshing beverages. Dinner is on your own this evening. -
Day 8:
We’ll be departing for Erie , Pennsylvania today. We’ll have a farewell dinner tonight at a local restaurant and then we’ll spend a relaxing evening at our hotel. -
Day 9:
We’ll be departing on the last leg of our journey this morning after a satisfying breakfast. Our trip will be fresh in our minds and we won’t be able to wait to share the sights and sounds of the “Live Music Show Capital of the World” with our family and friends! -

Day 1:
On our way to beautiful Vermont , we’ll stop at the Putney Inn for lunch, which is included in today’s activities. We’ll arrive at the Middlebury Inn where we will enjoy afternoon tea and cookies and meet our Vermont guide for a walking tour of the quaint village of Middlebury . Later, we’ll have an enjoyable Wine and Cheese party and dinner in the Founders Ballroom. Following dinner, we will gather in the ballroom for some very unique holiday entertainment. -
Day:
We’ll go “Over the River and Through the Woods” today after a great early morning buffet breakfast. Our sleigh-ride will be at the Thornapple Farm where the Palmer family will welcome us with hot chocolate and lots of Christmas fun. We’ll then travel north to Lake Champlain Chocolates to watch the chocolate artisans create homemade truffles, clusters and other sweets. We’ll be able to enjoy a few free samples as we learn about the story from bean to chocolate. Lunch will be included today on the waterfront. Following lunch, we’ll head off to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company where we’ll take a factory tour to learn about what goes into making these little friendly bears. Our last stop of the day is Dakin Farm, a Vermont Products store. We will return to Middlebury to freshen up before a relaxing dinner in the Founder’s Ballroom followed by our entertainment. -
Day 3:
Following our included breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and bid farewell to our Vermont guide as we board the motor coach for our departure home. Along the way, we will stop for lunch on your own and stop at The Vermont Country Store in Rockingham , Vermont. -

Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt (1794-1877) established the family fortune in steamships and later in the New York Central Railroad, which was a pivotal development in the industrial growth of the nation during the late 19th century. -

Approximately 300,000 people visit Bright Nights at Forest Park annually, making it one of the most visited light displays in New England . -
